Squid Race is a creative and challenging update familiar Red Light Green Light game. But don't get used to the old gameplay, the soundtrack will fool you.
The typical elements are still the same as the Red Light, Green Light game such as giant surveillance robots, guards in red suits always ready to punish violators, contestants in blue suits, and the basic principle that players are only allowed to move when the signal allows.
With the new red light Spreading Mechanism, a wave of red light suddenly appears on the ground before the robot turns around, forcing players to watch to stop in time tensely. No longer relying on sound, the game now requires high concentration and sharp observation to survive.
When the red ball spreads, it is a warning sign that the robot is about to return, however, the background music will not change, and the player must focus on the appearance of the red ball. The robot's eyes glow brightly before it turns its head, forcing the player to quickly make the right decision. Just a small mistake, the guard will immediately appear, ending the opportunity to go further.
No matter what position you are in, you need to control the character to stop immediately. If you move, you will be shot by the guard. When the robot turns away, do not rush to move. Wait until the red ball completely disappears on the way to return to a safe state.
In addition to moving and stopping at the right time to avoid being shot, you need to reach the finish line within the allowed time. The time will count down. If the time runs out and you still have not moved to the finish line, you will lose. Finishing within the time limit will help you advance to the next level with more difficult challenges and earn money.
