Tomb of the Mask is your journey of survival in the maze of death. You play as a brave masked explorer with a deadly adventure full of danger.
Designed in classic retro pixel graphics style with vibrant music but with mysterious rhythms, the drama is pushed to a climax. To pass the levels, your reflexes and tactical thinking will decide everything. The masked character never reveals his face, you will control the character to move through the maze of paths full of unexpected traps. The character can only move in four directions and will rush straight when encountering obstacles. This requires a precise calculation to collect coins, avoid traps and monsters, and especially avoid drowning in the rising water.
In each level, the player must navigate the masked character through the maze and find the exit to complete the level. To maximize your score, you must collect all the gold dots and coins along the way. The faster you complete the level, the more rewards you will be able to receive from the game. The maze contains spikes, lasers, rising water, and mobile enemies ready to block your way. You need to calculate the path reasonably to avoid getting stuck or moving into a dead end with no way out.
Each maze is filled with dangerous traps, mobile enemies, and complex paths. Since the character cannot stop in the middle of the path, the player must look beyond the current position to predict obstacles and find the best route.
Every time the character touches a wall, the character will temporarily stop, creating an opportunity to adjust the movement strategy. Walls are not only obstacles but also tactical stopping points, helping the player avoid traps, find escape routes, and control the speed of movement.
Some levels not only have obstacles but also put time pressure on them, such as water rising from below or enemies chasing. In this case, you cannot just focus on finding a path but also have to make quick and accurate decisions. Speed is important, but if you move too hastily without observing, you can push yourself to death.
Protection Shield Allows you to hit a trap once without losing, extremely useful in difficult levels. Using Speed Up helps you move faster, avoiding rising water or enemies in time.
